The other day I shared a Sympathy card with you. I told you there was more to come. So, here is another one.
Pam, one of my fantastic customers, sent me a Thank You a LONG time ago. She used the "bird" set – Friends 24-7. I really liked the card. Somehow, I think the card was lost and I cannot find it back L. I remembered it and created a sympathy card based on it
Isn't it beautiful? By the way, have you ordered soft suede cardstock? If not, you NEED to!! Order a few extra packs. It is a In Color color. What does that mean? That means, when this catalog expires (around the end of June) you will NOT be able to order any more of that beautiful color. So, get some now!!! And since it is a color that goes with so much, you need to order a few extra packs!!
I paired the Soft Suede with Kraft cardstock. I liken Kraft to a paper sack at the grocery store. Not the same, but the speckling is kind of the same. I don't know – losing my mind maybe????
I hope your Friday is off to a good start! It is going to be a pretty laid back weekend here. Stampin' parties here and there in the weekend as well!
I have created a document that lists all the ingredients used, the sizes and the step by step to complete this card.
You can find the document here.

I have had a good time making up a bunch of these treats. I am sure a lot of you are running out of time, so I thought I would offer up my extras for sale. If they all sell, I will make more J.
I have these little packets already made up. The Starbursts are included. They are in the small cello bags that we sell.
I have added 3 sets of these to my etsy store for a price of the lot of 10 for $19.99 (and that includes FREE priority shipping).

So, Miss Hannah has a beautiful little boy. And, all beautiful boys deserve a trip to Gymboree, right? In return for a couple of things to her little guy, she gave me a Thank You card. Great trade, I say.
I apologize for that left elephant. He was wet in my mailbox (we had a bunch of rain and our mailbox is NOT good anymore – I wish the bills would be wet, but they never are!)

I know, I don't really like to make these. Well, actually, I do like to make these. I just don't like to need them.
Do you know my story? Sympathy cards is why I started stamping. I didn't like going to the store and spending all this money on cards – and then they not say what I wanted to say. So, I started looking for a way to make these cards myself and have something that I really liked.
Here is a sympathy card that I have made lately. I have others that I will share with you as the days go by.
I LOVED how it turned out! I like the look of the Medallion stamp on that patterned paper. The patterned paper has a texture to it – so when I stamped it again kept that texture. LOVED it!!!
I kept the card very simple with just a couple of layers.
I have created a document that lists all the ingredients used, the sizes and the step by step to complete this card.
You can find the document here.
Happy Wednesday!!

Each project will be on its own sheet so you can use the projects separately or together in a class setting (if you are a demonstrator). You will receive your file pack within 24 hours of purchase via e-mail. Cost of file pack is $9.95.

I like the layout of this card. At first, I was a little intimidated by getting those square all lined up just perfect. What did I do???
Cut a square of scrap paper that is 2 ½ x 2 ½. The punched pieces are 1 ¼" square. Add two of those together and you have 2 ½" – so you can just "butt" these squares into each corner. Make sense??? I hope so. So, use a scrap piece of paper, because no one will ever see the paper.
Mount the piece with the square onto a piece of chocolate chip cardstock that is 2 ¾ square. That goes on to a piece of whisper white that is 3 x 3. Punch a 3" strip of old olive with the scallop punch. Stick all together on to a piece of Rose Red cardstock that is 5 ½ x 8 ½ folded to make the card.
Add the ribbon (through a slit in the side) and you are good to go!!!
Happy Saturday!!

Do you own it yet???? Yet? Now, did you go to www.sandyh.stampinup.net and put it in your cart? If not, you need to!!! I have shown you one sample so far (lookie here) and here is the second one. I have many, many more J. I LOVE this set. I think it s so pretty for more things than JUST Easter. Your thoughts? Let me know!!
This card is pretty simple to put together. The stamp set is Abudant Hope. Colors of cardstock – orchid opulence, chocolate chip, and whisper white. Ink is Certainly Celery and Chocolate chip. I am sorry – that ribbon is retired, but there is the new 5/8" chocolate chip ribbon in the new Occasions Mini Catalog that you can use J.

Good morning ladies. Today is a beautiful day here in South Dakota. Gotta love a gorgeous day. Now, I know to some of you, this isn't gorgeous. It is around 10 degrees. A lot of snow. But – the sun is shining. I am sitting at my kitchen table with the sun on my back. And, drinking a cup of coffee. It can not get much better than that. Yesterday was a busy day here. Had all good intensions of getting things to you. The winds blew like crazy (so bad I couldn't see the neighbors house because of visibility issues with the wind and snow). So, I had a happy household full of children and a hubby. One extreme to the next!!
I have an update on the Stamp a Stack that I told you about last week. I have some options for you – come to the "live" class (February 1), order the cards as a kit to go, or order the file pack. Whatever works best for you!!!
Here are the cards that will be included, no matter which option you choose.
Live Class
February 1 at 6:30 PM (finish by 8:30 PM), Hilltop Methodist Church, 1312 S. Bahnson, Sioux Falls. Cost is $20 to make three of each of the cards shown (12 total) or $30 to make 4 cards of each shown (for a total of 16 cards). You can pay for the class when you attend. I will send you an e-mail back. Let me know if you have any questions. You must RSVP by Friday, January 29, 2010.
Click Here to RSVP for the Stamp A Stack
Kit to Go Option
Can't attend, but would like to make the cards? Would you like to have cards that are all cut and ready for you to stamp & put together? You can order a kit. Kit price is $30 and will include FREE shipping, documents outlining how to complete the cards, and supplies (cardstock & ribbon) to complete four of each of the four cards shown (for a total of 16 cards). Kit will be mailed on or before February 1, 2010. Files will be e-mailed within 24 hours of payment. Use the Add to Cart button below to purchase the kit to make 16 cards for $30

Happy Monday Morning to all of you!
I have my Occasions Mini Catalog all set up and ready to go. So, thought I would take minute to blog about a card that we made this weekend. I headed over to Kirsten's house on Saturday for a stamp a stack. She picked four cards that her friends and family would like to make. I then cut up all the cardstock and they had a blast!!!
Here is one of the cards that we made. It is taken from an idea made by Nicole that I received in a swap.
Colors used are Rich Razzleberry and Pale Plum. Stamp sets are I {Heart} Hearts and Well scripted. Also used is the new punch in the Sale-a-bration catalog.
Ta Ta for now! Off to a busy day!

I bet you thought I had fallen off the face of the earth. Uughh! I hate it when I get too busy J. That is what happens when I have a party every day (and two on some days!) Today is the start of My Occasions Mini Catalog Open House. Tons of fun!! If you haven't had a chance to rsvp – do so now!! Projects are ready. House needs to be cleaned.
I KNOW a lot of you purchase designer series paper. I LOVE to use designer series paper. I LOVE that it is double-sided. I love how far it goes (12 sheets goes a long ways!)
But, I am a hoarder of my designer series paper. Here is the key – use it so you can buy more!!
I just cut up a bunch of the Cottage Wall paper and made some Sympathy cards with the paper.
It is a little tough to pick up the print in this paper, but it is really pretty. I added some taffeta ribbon to the side to dress it up a little without adding too much.
Let me know what you think!

Good morning ladies. I hope you are ready to start at FANTASTIC week. I know it is going to be a great week here! No snow in the future. That is good – we already have over 25 inches on the ground. We really don't welcome anymore.
I sold these great Décor Elements to a customer and friend, Becky. Didn't she do a great job with them? I love how she "squared" out the words with white paint in the little boy's room. And, look how everything matches so perfectly. So very nice J.
Here are links to the catalog and the supplement.

I know, I know. It is late for me. I just had too many things going on today to get a post up here. It'll be quick J. Kids were home from school – we have pretty bad conditions here. 5 more inches of snow to add to our already 20 on the ground. 25 to 35 mph winds. So, the roads are not good. And, the windchills are even worse. I am assuming a snow day tomorrow too. We'll see J. We welcome snow days – but we wish they were further way from a break. Kids were only back for 2 ½ days and then off again. Oh, well…
On to the card. Gotta love the butterflies and the new little tag set in the catalog J. And, the new little punch. Aaawwww J.
Stop back again!

On to the sample. I will have many, many more of these for you!
I am sure you are with me – oh, what to choose when buying from the Occasions Mini Catalog???? Well, I would start with buying one of each. After that, you can think about what you need multiples of. How’s that??? Hehhehhehhehhhehhh!
The first sample that I have for you here is from the Easter set I the catalog. Love, love, love it!! And, you know what I like the best? I love the flower in it – it can be used so many different ways – and not just for Easter cards.
The stamp set that I used is called Abundant home. Isn't it just gorgeous? It can be ordered in either wood mounts or clear mounts. What a deal J.
Some other fun (and new things that I have used on this card is the paper, ribbon and punch. The paper is called Shades of Spring. Gorgeous -- from the Occasions Mini Catalog.
I have also used some of the new 5/8" ribbon. Luscious!
And, it comes in a multitude of colors so that is really nice! Again, order one of each. Then, if necessary, order more :-).
One last thing I want to point out to you is the use of the Scallop Trim Border Punch. That is from the Sale-a-bration catalog. You can earn it absolutely FREE by spending $50 on your favorite Stampin' Up! products.
I have created a document for you that outlines all of the other products that I have used in this card. I hope you like this format. Let me know what you think :-). Click here to be sent to the document.
I will be back tomorrow with a sample from the Occasions Mini Catalog.
