The doors of the Canton Quilt Corner open at 10 AM – and you can get set up and get to work!  We are allowed to stay until wee hours of the morning.  How is that for perfect?

Info on the Canton Quilt Corner:  The Canton Quilt Corner (cantonquiltcorner.com, across from courthouse in Canton, SD) has a huge room that I would LOVE to put to use with you , great crafters!  They have brand new roller chairs for you to use with your OWN table!  They have JUST added a 15 bed retreat center above the store.  Absolutely amazing!  Brand new everything – beds, showers, kitchen.  You will not be disappointed in the facilities!!

• Friday (doors open to 2 AM), $35 – includes 2 meals and all the above Extras!

• Saturday (doors open to 2 AM), $35 – includes 2 meals and all the above Extras!

• Without enough participants, the event will not be held.  RSVP early so this does not happen!
• $20 non-refundable down payment is expected by November 15, 2010.  If something very unforeseen comes up, you will be able to apply the $20 to product or a future retreat.
• Your $20 down payment reserves your spot.  VERY, VERY limited number!

Open House File Pack

I am putting up for purchase the file pack for the projects that were made and given away at my Open House.

The guests made the two cards and I gave them a little Hershey Kiss treat for coming. The file pack will include all the directions, necessary supplies, and cutting instructions for each of the three projects. Each project will be on its own sheet so you can use the projects separately or together in a class setting (if you are a demonstrator). If you include your contact information when you purchase, I will include that info on the projects sheets. Pictures on the projects sheets will NOT have my contact information on them. You will receive your file pack within 24 hours of purchase via e-mail. Cost of file pack is $9.95.

February Class

Good morning!! I am happy to offer you the February class You can order the kit for the class or you can order the files for the kit. Demonstrators and customers are welcome to order!!!

What is included in a Kit to Go? In the February class you will get FREE SHIPPING, ingredients (paper, brads, buttons) to make the Easter Box, Happy Birthday card and EITHER the supplies to make the scrapbook page (12 x 12) or the chocolate chip card (prices vary for which kit you choose. All cardstock is precut. You will do the stamping and assembling. You will also get a document outlining how to complete each of the projects shown. These projects will begin shipping on February 8 (and will ship every Monday following the day you order). The document outline how to complete the projects will be mailed within 24 hours of payment.

What is included in the File Pack?

The file pack will be a file consisting of a separate sheet for each of the projects (all four projects will be included). If you are a demonstrator and would like to offer this as a class, you can just give your customers the sheets that you would like – you do not have to include all of the projects if you do not want to. Also, if you send me your contact information when you pay for the file pack, I will create the file with your contact information. The file pack will be emailed to you within 24 hours of purchase. Please provide your contact information when you purchase to speed the process of your individual file. Cost for the file pack is $14.95.

Stamp a Stack

Good morning ladies. Today is a beautiful day here in South Dakota. Gotta love a gorgeous day. Now, I know to some of you, this isn't gorgeous. It is around 10 degrees. A lot of snow. But – the sun is shining. I am sitting at my kitchen table with the sun on my back. And, drinking a cup of coffee. It can not get much better than that. Yesterday was a busy day here. Had all good intensions of getting things to you. The winds blew like crazy (so bad I couldn't see the neighbors house because of visibility issues with the wind and snow). So, I had a happy household full of children and a hubby. One extreme to the next!!

I have an update on the Stamp a Stack that I told you about last week. I have some options for you – come to the "live" class (February 1), order the cards as a kit to go, or order the file pack. Whatever works best for you!!!

Here are the cards that will be included, no matter which option you choose.

Live Class
February 1 at 6:30 PM (finish by 8:30 PM), Hilltop Methodist Church, 1312 S. Bahnson, Sioux Falls. Cost is $20 to make three of each of the cards shown (12 total) or $30 to make 4 cards of each shown (for a total of 16 cards). You can pay for the class when you attend. Upcoming Stamp a Stacks & Kits To Go

I am doing a couple of stamp a stacks this weekend. One is a General stack and one is a Christmas stack. A "stack" is making the four designs and making four cards of each of the designs. When you are finished, you will have 16 beautiful cards. If you come to a stamp a stack, everything is cut and ready for you to complete by stamping and putting the cards together. If you order the stamp a stack as a kit, the same follows: you will get all the precut materials including cardstock and ribbon. You will need to own the stamps (or something similar) to stamp and put together.

Christmas Card Stamp a Stack

First up is the Christmas card stamp a stack. You will make/get four of each of the designs. Note: patterned paper may vary depending on what is in the pack of paper. Ribbon will not be satin ribbon – it will be grosgrain ribbon. You have some choices:

1. If you would like to make this stamp a stack of Christmas cards this weekend (Friday night, November 13 at 7 PM or Saturday, November 14 at 10 AM or 2 PM), please let me know. I am offering this class in Sioux Falls, SD at a business on the East side of town. E-mail me TODAY so I can get things ready for you J. Cost for the stamp a stack is $30. 2. If you would like to host a stamp a stack and make these cards with your friends and family, please let me know. Cost for a stack is $30. 3. You can also order these cards as a kit to go. Included in the kit to go will be the precut cardstock, ribbon, directions, and supply list. You have until Tuesday, November 17 to order your kit. 5th Avenue Floral Class

Ladies, I have a new 5^th Avenue Floral Class for you.

This class is really neat. The ideas came from Andrea. I have redone them with new In Colors. I think the cards and the box turned out to be beautiful!

Project #1 from the Open House

This is the first project that I am going to show you. Tomorrow there will be another one J. Make sure you come back!

What did the gals like about making this project? How easy it is to use the new Shimmer Paint from the Holiday Mini catalog.

I LOVE doing events such as an Open House for my customers. I do feel bad that my long distance customers cannot participate. So, a couple of workaround I have for that are this. First, I record a video of what went on. That way, you too can learn about the products just as if you were here. Just shoot me an e-mail if you have questions on any of the things that are presented. Second, for all my long distance customers placing orders that coincide with the event, I send them the finished projects. In this case, I will be sending the card above and the project that I present tomorrow. So, it is a win win for everyone!
