Valentine’s from Grandma

The kids were recipients of great Valentine's cards from their grandma. This is the girl version – and I think the "boy" version was quickly taken apart to get at the M&Ms. Imagine that!!

Grandma used the heart treat cups to create this masterpiece! Colors used are Riding Hood Red, Whisper White, and Pink Pirouette.

She used the stamp set Sweetheart.

To work with the Heart Treat Cups, you will need the Full Heart Punch and the Treat Cups.

Barb’s Birthday Card

Isn't this the cutest? Barb made it for my birthday. I love the subtle colors and the square card. I don't make many square cards – I guess should branch out a bit.

The only part of this card that "opens" is the center portion (under the three purses). Totally Lovin' the uniqueness. The little purses are actually an edge punch in Barb's stampin' stash.

Playing Ketchup

SEAM BINDING PRODUCT SPLIT!  SEAM BINDING PRODUCT SPLIT!!

Is it ketchup? Or catsup? Heinz? At our house it is ketchup. And, it is Heinz. Gotta Be. I really need to tally how many ounces of ketchup we go through in a year. Wonder what that number is? I didn't grow up with ketchup on everything. But, my husband did. Not sure if he grew up with it, or adapted to it? At first I thought it was a sign my cooking was bad (maybe it still is???) when he put ketchup on EVERY meat that there is. But no, he has always done that. I got over it. My son makes ketchup sandwiches. Homemade bread and ketchup. What a waste!

Anyway, on to a couple of cards. Edna sent me these a LONG time ago. Really neat what she does. And, she always has the "write" words. She needs to combine her stamping with a saying business of sorts. Not sure what that would be……., but I bet it could work. You send her the scenario. She will make up the card and write in it for you. Heeheee.

Playing catch up because I have had these cards a long time. UUGHH!

Aren't they so neat? I love her layers. And, I love the words. Edna, I have never asked – but you must have a pretty good printer that will feed our cardstock? I ended up buying a different printer so I could print wedding invitations on our cardstock. Wasn't that expensive, but the original printer I had was a "roller" one (meaning the paper had to turn in the machine). We/Stampin' Up! have very high quality paper and it would not feed through that printer. So, had to buy a different one. Drawback? Not a wireless one this time. But, that is ages ago. Could probably ugrade again. Printers are not that much – companies have figured out they have you coming or going with the high priced ink to put in them!

My birthday was WAY back in December. And, I haven't shared this card yet L.

This is such a beautiful card. Cathy LOVES to use the watercolor crayons (and they are ALL now available). That is what she used to color in the flowers. She does such beautiful work!
