My Digital Studio – Christmas Cards

Shucky Darn! This summer I had printed up some pictures that I REALLY liked for our Christmas cards. I did that at a photographer and I did not have access to the original jpg file. UUGHH! Now, we took our pictures with Beth Koedam (link is here on Facebook) AND she did a fantastic job!! And, we get the digital images. Isn't that the coolest thing since sliced bread?

So, here is what I did.

I headed over to my store – www.sandyh.stampinup.net. Then, I clicked Shop Now.

I already own My Digital Studio from Stampin' Up!. So, wanted to purchase something to make a Christmas card.

I clicked Digital Crafting along the left:

Then, what you get is this:

I clicked on Newest Downloads (2^nd item over) and got this:

I wanted the Deck the Halls Kit for $3.95.

So, I bought it J.

Included in this kit is a 7 x 5 card. Originally, it looks like this:

And, with a couple of steps (moving the scallop and adding our picture), I now have this:

How is that for you? I LOVE it!! That is my family!!

Upcoming Stamp a Stacks & Kits To Go

I am doing a couple of stamp a stacks this weekend. One is a General stack and one is a Christmas stack. A "stack" is making the four designs and making four cards of each of the designs. When you are finished, you will have 16 beautiful cards. If you come to a stamp a stack, everything is cut and ready for you to complete by stamping and putting the cards together. If you order the stamp a stack as a kit, the same follows: you will get all the precut materials including cardstock and ribbon. You will need to own the stamps (or something similar) to stamp and put together.

Christmas Card Stamp a Stack

First up is the Christmas card stamp a stack. You will make/get four of each of the designs. Note: patterned paper may vary depending on what is in the pack of paper. Ribbon will not be satin ribbon – it will be grosgrain ribbon. You have some choices:

If you would like to make this stamp a stack of Christmas cards this weekend (Friday night, November 13 at 7 PM or Saturday, November 14 at 10 AM or 2 PM), please let me know. I am offering this class in Sioux Falls, SD at a business on the East side of town. E-mail me TODAY so I can get things ready for you J. Cost for the stamp a stack is $30. E-mail is sandy@stampinsandy.com and phone number is 605.366.4059.
If you would like to host a stamp a stack and make these cards with your friends and family, please let me know. Cost for a stack is $30. You will earn hostess benefits on the number of gals that come and also for the orders that are placed. E-mail me today at sandy@stampinsandy.com. I have only a limited number of dates/times available.
You can also order these cards as a kit to go. Included in the kit to go will be the precut cardstock, ribbon, directions, and supply list. You have until Tuesday, November 17 to order your kit. Kits will begin shipping on November 17 and finish on November 19. Cost for the Kit To Go is $30. There are NO shipping charges.
Are you a demonstrator? You may order just the directions and supply list. Cost for the document is $4.95. Documents will be e-mailed on or before November 17, 2009. Each card will be on its own sheet so it is easy to share with your customers if you choose to not use all the cards. Please note: document cannot be sold separately by individual demonstrators. You may sell kits to your customers and include the directions. In no way can the directions be sold individually or be given away by any demonstrator.
