My customer sent me this file yesterday morning. I am so in LOVE. I wonder if she wants to give up the baby? Can you smell her? Aaahhhh J.

She is absolutely beautiful. And, her mom is amazing? She has hardly had My Digital Studio in her hot little hands and she is already creating like crazy! She has created this beautiful birth announcement using the software.

Love, love, love it. Another awesome thing about My Digital Studio (MDS for short) is that it is very shareable.

Have a Great Tuesday. It is an AWESOME week. I had an Open House with a new downline last night that was a ton of fun. Then, a hostess club tonight. Petal Pizzazz tomorrow night. Friday and Saturday is the Expo for her. Busy week, but a lot of fun!

A Christmas Card you can make a LOT

Some cards are really beautiful and a LOT of work. Some are really beautiful and just so simple. Both will pack a punch with the recipient. For Christmas it is fun to come up with a card that is relatively simple, but packs a punch.

Here is one such card. Really, there is one product that does this! It is glitter. Glitter can make the most simple design so powerful. Glitter is a hard thing to capture! Inspiration for this card came from Patricia.

Card Ingredients:  All Stampin' Up!

Stamp Set:  Serene Snowflakes (mini catalog)

Ink:  Night of Navy

Cardstock:  Night of Navy, Whisper White, Ballet Blue

Extras:  2 way glue, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, White Ribbon

Have a GREAT Saturday!  Here in South Dakota We got some of the REAL stuff -- snow!! Yikes!  The roofs and the grass are all white.  There is ice from melted snow on my step.  Fun, fun!

A Few more Hawaii pages… and a hint

The pages again were made using Stampin' Up!'s My Digital Studio – MDS for short.

Here is my hint. When you are ready to make a book (as is what I have done here), you have a choice to start with a template, just pictures, or have the program auto populate your pictures in a template. So, here is what I did. I chose the template I wanted (thus the birds and colors, etc.). I told it to auto populate my pictures. So, I went through my directory and picked out all the pictures. You can have it auto populate based on a to z of file name or date I think. I did it based on file name. So, my pictures are arranged in my book alphabetically based on file name. How easy is that???? Not too tough J.

I hope you love seeing these pages. They are really easy to put together. The hardest part (when looking through a big project) is sorting out all the pictures. How come I don't just delete the duds from the beginning? Uughh! Or, make a dud folder. Hmmmm. Once I had the completed, the task went really, really fast. Actually, including the weeding of 1000 pictures and putting a 25 page album together, I only have three hours into the project. I think I did pretty good!!!!

On to the project for the day.  I ordered the Decor Element blocks out of the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini Catalog.

The blocks are a hard MDF wood -- a really smooth wood that is almost like paper.  Really neat.  I don't like to paint, so I didn't go that route.  The blocks are exactly 3" square, so I went ahead and cut some Chocolate Chip cardstock into 3" squares.  I just used my SNAIL adhesive and stuck the paper to the wood blocks.  Absolutely too easy!!!!!  I LOVE how they turned out!  I also bought the Decor Elements Holiday Mix in Chocolate from the mini catalog.  added those with some patterned paper and the blocks are finished.  You cannot beat the speed of getting this project finished.  Are you looking for some ideas for the holidays?  Order yourself some paper and the Decor Elements products from the mini catalog and you'll have your projects completed in NO time.

Where would I be??

You know, where would I be if I hadn't gotten some things from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Mini Catalog? Hmmm.. There are SO many fun things in there!!

This is a card that I made for a trade awhile back. I really like it. something I think that would be cute too is to just take the portion with the snowflake, circle, and tag and use that on presents at Christmas time. fun, fun!!

The main product used on this card was the Big Shot. There is actually no stamping on this card at all. I used the folder for the poinsettias and used dies for the circle, snowflake, and tag. I did take out my ink to rub across the tag using a sponge.

The Merry Tag is an embosslit. What does that mean? That means – put a piece of paper in the embosslit and it cuts the tag and embosses at the same time. An embosslit is like a sandwich and the paper goes in the sandwich and the through the Big Shot.

I also used the Snow Fall printed window sheets for fun. They had a background so easily! From the Big Catalog, I used the Snowflakes Set #2 for the snowflake. These little sizzlets are each 2 1/4" x 2 ½". You do not need anything extra with your Big Shot – just the things that come with it. The Circles #2 Original Die has a bunch of circles on it. I used the largest of the circles on this card.

I hope you are having a good day. The inevitable has hit our house – the flu L. It is the stomach flu. There is SO much of it going around already. I *hate* the flu. I *hate* everything that goes with it. You know, you don't wish bad things on your kids, but the flu is not one of those things that I'll take for them. Is that being a bad mom???

Another card using Shimmer Paint

Did you come here to see a card? I can sweeten the deal with a potty training story. How would that be for you? Nah, I won't share the stories. They are funny, but just not appropriate – as I am sure you can all imagine. Funny thing is this is my 3^rd kid. So, I should have potty training all figured out, right? Well no, I suffer from dementia (early onset, just kidding!) and I can't remember potty training. Hmmm. I think daycare did it for me. Honestly! But, with Devon only going to daycare part-time I guess I have to get things initiated. I don't think it works to only be potty trained on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday? Yeah, not going to work!

Would you like to see another card done with the Frost White Shimmer Paint from the Holiday Mini Catalog from Stampin' Up!?

Isn't it crazy that depending on what cardstock you stamp it on, it looks different. For this one, I mixed a little of the paint with a little real red reinker and it turned out Rose Red.

You gals are all soooooo sweet. You know, I knew that. Stampers are sweet people. But, what a huge pat on the back you gals have done for me. I am humbled. Absolutely humbled! Humbled that you all took time out of your day to write such sweet things. Humbled that you check out what I am doing each and every day! Humbled that some of you didn't know how to post a comment before this, but figured it out so you could say sweet things. I know, the blog candy makes things sweeter. But, honestly, I think you would be posting even without the carrot in front of you J. A HUGE hug from me to you!

Busy week, but I still have Stampin’ Up! Christmas cards for you :-)

A great mix for a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is to do both "live" events with "online" events. The two work together so well! By doing live events, it is easy to see what needs to be tweaked in a project or instruction. This helps me write good instructions for my online projects. And, part of this business is making great friends. That's the beauty of doing live and online – great friends can be met face to face or online. Stampin' Up! is a business that needs relationships. I LOVE every relationship that has been strengthened with the love of rubber stamping and scrapbooking.

This is a busy week. I was off to my mom's house last night for a hostess club. First meeting of the year. Oh, so fun! The group is a great mix. Oldies, newbies, and returnies J. This club has been going for 5 years? Is that right ladies??? With all the great products Stampin' Up! has and a little planning time each month, there are always things to show these ladies! I am off to another club meeting tonight!  Heading to Sioux Falls this time.  Maybe they'll let me take their picture?  Check back tomorrow -- I'll let you know :-).
