It is always fun to come up with a new card fold – and one that fits into our standard sized envelopes.
With our new Simply Scored tool, creating fancy fold cards just got easier!!
How to use the Simply Scored tool?
So, for this card, you would put your cardstock in the Simply Scored tool.
Score on the lines of 2 1/8" and 5 7/8". The card will fold o those lines and be really neat.
Create your focal point (in this case, the piece with the tree). Make sure you only adhere to the left-hand side of the card (so that the card will open.
Leah Putnam created this card for you. She used one of the A la Carte stamps from the back of the Holiday Mini Catalog. The nice thing about those are that they are single stamps. Buy one here and there. Add to an order here and there. They are not going to break the bank. Yeah!!
Tina Taves created this beauty. What a nice job!! And, she used a few new things from the Holiday Mini Catalog.
The one that really caught my eye was that small piece of nestled Silver Glimmer paper. See it? The little bit of snow on the background? Way cool!!
What she did:
Stamped the house in Cherry cobbler on whisper white cardstock.
Ripped a small piece of Silver Glimmer paper. Adhered that to the bottom of her house.
Cut a small piece of whisper white cardstock and stamped Happy Holidays on it. Adhered that over top of the silver glimmer paper. That little piece of the card (house piece) has three layers right there – house, glimmer paper, and happy holidays piece.
The "house stamp set has been VERY popular. It comes from the Holiday Mini Catalog. Christmas Lodge, 123767 $33.95, 123769 $25.95
Another popular item on the card is the 3/8" quilted Satin Ribbon from the Holiday Mini Catalog.
The background was made using the Snow Burst Embossing folder, 124096.
