How to do a card with the strip along the side:
- Cut the Taken with Teal cardstock to be 8 ½ x 5 ½. Fold in half to make your card. (Card measure 4 ¼ x 5 ½)
- Once the card is folded, cut off about ¾" of an inch of the taken with teal cardstock.
- Cut a strip of pacific point cardstock 1 ½ x 5 ½. Stick down to front of card, matching the edges of the back piece of the card so the front side is the same size as the back side of the card.
Attaching Brads to Small Felt Flowers:
- Poke the brad through. Bend back the pieces.
- Use your Craft and Rubber Scissors and snip off the ends of the brad backs
Attaching Flower Fusion felt pieces to your card:
- Use either glue dots or stampin' dimensional.
- On the larger one on the top left, I used two dimensional.
- On the smaller one in the middle, I used glue dots.
Here is another card with the same layout.
Here, again!
These are cards that I have made in the past. I originally found the layout from one of the Stampin' Success magazines. I have used it over and over! I love it!! It is any easy way to use a lot of colors on one card. The other thing it works great for is scraps. If you are like me, you have plenty of them! Click on the links to see the list of supplies for the bottom two cards.
Don't know what Stampin' Success is? Stampin' Success is a magazine full of ideas that I get in the mail each and every month. It is put out my Stampin' Up!
